Sand between your toes that eventually sticks and turns into sandpaper - barely escaping sunburn - sucking at volleyball but playing anyway - water that should be warm from the weather but isnt - climbing on rocks way faster than everyone else and having to wait for them - walking on the seawall (night or day) - beach sunsets - the really expensive ice cream - flip flops and bikinis - short shorts all day, every day - that one pair of sunglasses that you feel naked without, even when indoors - reading books in the shade - sleeping under the summer sun without a care in the world :)
